SouthGate’s Connect Groups are small groups that meet in homes on a variety of weekdays throughout the South Phoenix area. Meetings are about two hours long and a Connect Group session lasts six to eight weeks.

The two points of emphasis in our Connect Groups are the spiritual growth of group members and connecting people in meaningful relationships where they can benefit from one another’s, spiritual gifts, wisdom, and life experience.

We offer Adult and Child-Friendly groups. Our Child-friendly groups offer separate curriculum and leadership for the children who attend. Our “Intersection” college age group (18-25 yrs.) and our “Reality” youth group (7th-12th grade) are also part of our Connect Group family.

Connect Group Ministry

 

Our Connect Group Ministry is an inportant part of the second step in our church’s overall discipleship process.

Just as the name implies, our purpose is to help believers connect with one another in relationships that move them towards a place of spiritual growth and maturity. We do this through Bible-based studies, prayer, encouragement, and opportunities to discover and use the spiritual gifts that God has placed in our lives to serve others.

Our goal is to have all people from every age group who regularly attend SouthGate Church to participate in our Connect Group Ministry and to invite friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members to experience the Connect Groups as well.
